What is the correct procedure in opening a claim from a previous employer. I worked for 5 years for one employer until 11/07 and collected unemployment benefits for several months and then stopped as I started to work for a company who did NOT pay into SS so I am trying to re-open a claim against the first employer as I did not come close to using my unemployment benefits. How do I accomplish this?
